Whether you are thinking about getting ZOZOFIT, are a new user, or are a ZOZOFIT pro, there’s always a good reason to take a moment to re-acquaint yourself with all that ZOZOFIT has to offer through its cutting-edge 3D scanning technology as well as the accompanying ZOZOSUIT

Since ZOZOFIT’s inception, our team has worked to introduce new features that would be beneficial to all users. This article will help you get the most out of using the ZOZOFIT app, so you can elevate your approach to your fitness journey and better prepare yourself for any challenges ahead.

ZOZOFIT is the Health Tracking App You Need

Unlike many fitness tracking apps, ZOZOFIT assists users by providing insightful body measurements and other trackable metrics. Body measurements are a great tool to track fat loss and muscle gain. In comparison to the traditional scale and even a smart scale, ZOZOFIT is more accurate in showing the changes in the body than these tools.

When coupled with a fitness watch or other wearable device, ZOZOFIT will help you get a fuller picture of your overall health and wellness so that you will better understand the kinds of decisions you need to make based on your fitness progress and goals.

3D Body Scanning and Body Fat Percentage

ZOZOFIT’s proprietary 3D body scanning technology calculates body measurements and body fat percentage for its users.

When you put on the ZOZOSUIT and set up a scan, the app takes pictures that it then translates into a 3D mesh so you can see your measurements in real time. ZOZOFIT is set up to show the measurements of 12 key locations in the body.

Most ZOZOFIT users utilize the body measurements to track their muscle mass or body fat percentage. Each of these metrics is important to our users, but one may be more beneficial for you over the other. If you are working to gain strength, for example, you may pay more attention to the measurements of the specific muscles you are training.

If you are looking to lose weight, then paying attention to body fat percentage would be most beneficial, especially in comparison to the scale. Our body fat percentage calculation is based on the U.S. Navy Method, which is the most accurate method for body fat percentage measured through external factors — like using our ZOZOSUIT and your phone’s camera.

How to do a Scan in ZOZOFIT

To do a scan with ZOZOFIT, all you need are the ZOZOFIT app, your ZOZOSUIT, and a phone stand (which is included in your packaging).

When you open the app, choose to complete a new scan. Then, follow the app’s instructions for taking the scan. The app will guide you throughout the scanning process, reminding you to adjust your body position and turn so the camera can take the pictures it needs.

Once the scan is done, the app will create a 3D mesh of your body.

ZOZOFIT is best for seeing progress over a longer period of time. Your measurements will not fluctuate too much day-to-day, so it is best to wait at least two weeks between scans in order to get the best results.

Setting Goals with ZOZOFIT

Goal setting is important to any fitness journey. People who set goals are more likely to stay motivated to complete their goals, which is why ZOZOFIT built goal setting into the app.

You can set a goal for body measurements or body fat percentage and track your progress overtime.

When setting goals, consider following the guidelines for SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) goals. The SMART goal framework encourages goal setters to think deeply about their goals and ensure that they make sense within the context of their life.

Measuring Your Progress

Your progress means nothing if you can’t measure it! ZOZOFIT has introduced two ways for users to measure their progress overtime: ColorMetric and Body Scan Comparison.

ColorMetric

With ColorMetric, users can track changes to their body over time. The feature compares a user’s body scans and utilizes a color gradient to show differences in body measurements over time.

Many users have found ColorMetric specifically helpful when compared to the scale because it removes the focus on numbers, which can be difficult for people who have struggled with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, or other obsessive health behaviors.

This is a healthy way to see progress over time, especially since comparing numbers and trying to “see” the difference on your own can often be difficult.

ColorMetric is a great resource for those who want to visualize the changes to their body through their fitness journey, but they don't want to get bogged down by a bunch of numbers.

Body Scan Comparison

More recently, ZOZOFIT added a body scan comparison feature, so users can look at two different scans side-by-side. This allows users to choose two scans to compare. If you’d like to measure the difference between your two most recent scans, you can! You could also look at scans a year apart or more. This provides much more customization and access to a larger amount of data for users to make informed decisions about their health and fitness.
