ZOZOFIT is an app that creates a 3D rendering of your body using body measurement technology developed by ZOZO, Inc. Once you are wearing the ZOZOSUIT, the ZOZOFIT app can capture your precise body shape, including measurements and overall body fat percentage.

The ZOZOSUIT is our uniquely designed suit that pairs with our exclusive ZOZOFIT app to precisely measure your body in 3D while using your smartphone. The suit is covered in a proprietary pattern of more than 15,000 fiducial markers that are used to capture your precise body shape.

Our ZOZOSUIT has been designed with a great deal of flexibility in mind so that we can accommodate an array of body shapes and sizes. Each ZOZOSUIT size covers a range of 60-80 pounds so that it can adapt to any potential changes to your body composition over time. 

For customers that size out of their ZOZOSUIT within the first year of your original purchase date, ZOZOFIT will exchange your ZOZOSUIT free of charge.

ZOZOFIT is not a subscription-based product. The ZOZOSUIT costs $98 for a one-time purchase and use of the ZOZOFIT app itself is free. There are no subscription or monthly costs associated with using the ZOZOFIT app or any of its features. 

We recommend that each ZOZOFIT app user should use their own suit for the scanning process. The ZOZOSUIT fits to the contours of each users’ body uniquely which helps ensure that the scanning process is accurate. Because no two bodies are exactly alike, sharing suits can result in inaccurate measurement data.

The ZOZOSUIT is our uniquely designed suit that pairs with our exclusive ZOZOFIT app to precisely measure your body in 3D while using your smartphone. When you wear the ZOZOSUIT, the ZOZOFIT app can capture your precise body shape, including measurements and overall body fat percentage.

When you visit our website, click the “Buy Now” button. This will take you to our size calculator. Once you enter your height and weight, this will determine the proper suit size for your shape and it will be added to your online cart.

In order to determine the right ZOZOSUIT for you, we calculate the suit size using your height and weight upon purchase to ensure that you receive the properly-sized suit. To see how we calculate your ZOZOSUIT size, please click HERE.

NOTE: We currently do not have ZOZOSUIT sizes available for kids.

The ZOZOSUIT is made out of polyester and polyurethane. Because it is made of fabric and contains no electronic components within the suit, you can care for yourself. The ZOZOSUIT is designed to be worn for the scanning process but we do not recommend wearing your ZOZOSUIT while you work out or during other fitness activities. That can lead to fading of the pattern on the ZOZOSUIT, which can decrease accuracy during the scanning process.

ZOZOSUIT Care Instructions: Machine wash cold; gentle cycle. Line dry in the shade. We recommend washing your ZOZOSUIT in a mesh bag to avoid the effects of any whitening detergent. 

Please do not iron, dry clean, or use bleach on your ZOZOSUIT.

NOTE: Extensive washing of your ZOZOSUIT may affect the clarity of the circular markers on the suit which can diminish the accuracy of the measurements. Please only wash when necessary.

There are currently 13 different ZOZOSUIT sizes available. Just enter your height and weight before you purchase, and our site will choose the size that perfectly fits you.

After launching the first version of the ZOZOSUIT alongside the ZOZO custom-fit clothing brand in 2018, we heard requests from countless customers who wanted to use the ZOZOSUIT for measuring and tracking their body's shape. We took a pause in operation, and spent the past 4 years improving the technology behind the now ZOZOFIT measurement system—including a new and improved ZOZOSUIT—so that we could provide our users with a better way to measure their shape.

Regrettably, at present, the ZOZOSUIT is not optimized for use by individuals in wheelchairs or those who have limb differences. We are diligently engaged in enhancing the inclusivity of our product and striving to ensure greater accessibility for all.

Measurments &  How to Scan

To calculate body fat percentage (BFP), ZOZOFIT uses the U.S. Navy methodology, which mainly uses your neck and waist measurements (and for female measurements, it also includes hip measurements), to make an estimation of the percentage. Unlike other methods, like DXA scans or smart scales, ZOZOFIT does not rely on X-rays or electric current sent through your body. Smartscales can furthermore be manipulated by your hydration levels or by small amounts of sweat. The beauty of ZOZOFIT’s approach to BFP is the stability and specificity that comes from the accuracy of our measurement methods, which have been tested over and over again, with only a margin of error of 0.15 inch.

Few customers have informed us that their BFP looks different from other devices they may have used in the past, and we are continuing to investigate our methodology as we constantly work to improve our app's algorithms. Nevertheless, we highly recommend our users to utilize ZOZOFIT’s BFP metrics as a tool to monitor patterns and trends over time.

The ZOZOFIT app captures images from different angles and constructs a precise 3D model of your body. It extracts key measurements with an accuracy similar to a laser scanner and can achieve this level of accuracy repeatedly, which eliminates the potential for human error while measuring. 

The accuracy of the ZOZOFIT app scans have a margin of error of ¼ of an inch, depending on the location of the measurement on your body.

Before you put on the ZOZOSUIT for the first time, please make sure to watch the ZOZOFIT tutorial video in its entirety, as that will be extremely helpful for you throughout the process. Here are some other tips to help make sure your scanning experience is successful:

  • Make sure to scan in a location that is well-lit and has ample lighting throughout the room so that the app can read your entire body. If it’s too dark, the app may not be able to read your ZOZOSUIT correctly. Also, please make sure that you are not standing in front of a mirror while scanning, as that can interfere with the ZOZOFIT app technology.
  • If you have longer hair, please make sure to tie it up before scanning so that it doesn’t interfere with the scanning area of the suit.
  • After you put on your ZOZOSUIT, please make sure that both the top and the bottom pieces are completely smooth against your body, and that your seams are in the appropriate places (not twisted) as that will help ensure your scan will be accurate.
  • While standing for the scanning process, please position yourself so that your feet are several feet apart and hold your arms a few inches away from the rest of your body so that your suit can be read by your device.

In terms of measurements needed for making clothing and/or other apparel, the ZOZOFIT app does not provide inseam or limb length measurements, so most likely our data won’t be able to help you fully. For those who only need circumference measurements, the ZOZOFIT app does provide those calculations.

Users should scan every 2-4 weeks. We recommend you try to scan at the same time for every scan for the most consistent results. Time of day, as well as posture and lighting, can all slightly affect measurements and body fat percentage results, so be sure to be as consistent as possible.

We strongly recommend that you maintain a relaxed posture during the scan, as consistent flexing throughout the process may be challenging. However, if you wish to obtain flexed measurements, you have the option to do so. Please note that for accurate comparisons between scans, it is advisable not to mix flexed and relaxed postures

App Details

Please make sure to include details on the issues that you are experiencing, as well as information about the device that you are using the ZOZOFIT app with, including edition of the device and which version of the software you are currently using. 

If you are able to include any screenshots of the issues you are having within the ZOZOFIT app when contacting us, that would also be helpful for our team to review as we work toward making sure you can complete the scanning process.

Currently, users have the ability to connect Apple/Google health to utilize your most updated height and weight from that app. We are still working on being able to connect with these apps further in the future, so we will have more information on those updates when they become available. The ZOZOFIT app is available on iPhone devices (X or above) and can be used with iOS 15 or later. It may be possible to download the ZOZOFIT app on other Apple devices, but that does not mean that your device will be compatible with the app. Please make sure that you are using the most recent version of the ZOZOFIT app to ensure that you are capturing accurate measurements with your suit.

The ZOZOFIT app is also available on the Google Play Store for Android devices 10 or later. The following is a list of recommended Android-supported devices:

It may be possible to download the ZOZOFIT app on other Android devices, but that does not mean that your device is compatible with the app. Please make sure that you are using the most recent version of the ZOZOFIT app to ensure that you are capturing accurate measurements with your ZOZOSUIT.

You can now export OBJ files from the ZOZOFIT app. Go to the bottom right of the screen on the ZOZOFIT app, tap “share” and you will be able to export your 3D rendering from there.

Unfortunately, you cannot. This newly designed ZOZOSUIT features circular markers that our app utilizes in order to recognize and scan your body properly. Without those markers, our app is unable to complete the scanning process.

Unfortunately, you cannot. Because we have made improvements to our measurement technology, this means that the original ZOZOSUIT that was distributed from 2018-2019 will not be compatible with the current ZOZOFIT app technology.

Order & Payment  Information

We are not a subscription-based product. The ZOZOSUIT costs $98 for a one-time purchase and use of the ZOZOFIT app itself is free. There are no subscription or monthly costs associated with using the ZOZOFIT app or any of its features.

You have 45 days from the date your shipment is delivered to request a return of your item(s) and we offer FREE returns within the United States. Once we approve your return, you have 7 business days to ship the item back to us. To receive a full refund on your ZOZOSUIT purchase, please contact us at support@zozofit.com so that we can begin processing your return immediately. 

Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), credit card refunds typically take between 5-10 business days to appear on your account. Your financial institution may require additional time to process the refund to your account. Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment used to make your purchase. 

We will only process domestic returns. If you need to make a return from an international location, customers will be responsible for the shipment process and any associated shipping costs. 

Yes, there is a warranty on the ZOZOSUIT. If you experience any manufacturing defects or material issues within a one-year period from your purchase date, we will exchange your ZOZOSUIT on your behalf.  Please contact us at support@zozofit.com if any issues arise so that we can assist you with the exchange process.

Unfortunately, you cannot immediately cancel your order after it is placed, as our system is designed to process orders promptly. You may return any unwanted items for a refund once you receive them. Just contact us at support@zozofit.com so that we can begin processing your request.

You can only purchase one suit at a time due to the specific sizing information required to purchase a suit. We currently do not charge for shipping, so you will not incur any additional costs by placing two (or more) separate orders.

When wearing your ZOZOSUIT, it should feel snug and conform to your body shape. If it feels too tight in areas or is stretched to the point the dots are not visible, please contact us immediately at support@zozofit.com. We have a 45 day return policy and will process exchanges within your first year of purchase. ZOZOFIT covers shipping costs associated with domestic returns and exchanges. 

Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. Once your ZOZOFIT order has been shipped, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your order’s tracking information. You can track your order(s) by clicking the link in the Shipping Confirmation email. This will take you directly to the shipping carrier's website. 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. This includes all debit cards issued by these banks.  We also accept prepaid Visa, Mastercard or American Express gift cards. Your purchases will show up on your bill as ZOZOFIT.com.

Currently, we only ship ZOZOSUITs to the United States and all U.S. Territories. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or any military bases including APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
